Dr. Robert J. Dittoe
Dr. Robert J. Dittoe completed his undergraduate work at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1980. Dr. Dittoe assisted with research studies of new contact lens materials while at OSU and received the Bausch and Lomb Award for Excellence in Contact Lenses in 1980. He has authored a number of articles for publication in nationally recognized contact lens journals, and is a primary advisor for the Hocking College Professional Advisory Board.
Dr. Dittoe is a Past President of the Perry County Chapter of The American Cancer Society as well as being a Past Crusade Chairman. He is a Past President of the New Lexington Jaycees and past board member of the Perry County Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Dittoe is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the Ohio Optometric Association. He is a member of the Ohio Amblyope Registry, the AOA InfantSee Program, and AOA Vision USA which donates examinations and glasses to those in need. He is a member of both the Miami University and The Ohio State University Alumni Associations. Dr. Dittoe is an affiliate doctor with TLC Laser Eye Center, located in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Dittoe has been in private practice in New Lexington since 1980.
Dr. John Manard
Dr. John Manard earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from New Mexico State University prior to acceptance into the OSU College of Optometry in 2010. He received his Doctorate in Optometry in 2014 after completing the rigorous four year curriculum. While at OSU, Dr. Manard completed training in all areas of optometry. He underwent specialized training in management of ocular diseases and surgical co-management of cataract and LASIK patients. He is most interested in contact lens fitting and assessment, including more complicated cases.
Dr. Manard was chosen as a recipient of the Ohio Optometric Association’s Student Loan Repayment Program Award in both 2017 and 2018. By receiving this award he is recognized as a doctor of optometry who is committed to treating underserved populations and ensuring they have access to lifetime eyecare.
Dr. Manard provides comprehensive eye examinations to patients of all ages, as well as treatment and management of ocular disease conditions such as glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, and diabetic eye changes.
Dr. Manard is an active member of the American and Ohio Optometric Associations. He is an avid sports fan, most specifically rooting for the Buckeyes and the Kansas City Chiefs. He is married to Dr. Whitney Territo. He also loves to read, so don’t hesitate to give him good book recommendations!
Dr. Whitney Territo
Dr. Whitney Territo earned her Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She was accepted into The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2012 and graduated from Ohio State Summa Cum Laude, receiving her Doctorate in Optometry in May 2016. Dr. Territo was awarded the Beta Sigma Kappa Silver Medal upon graduation, signifying the attainment of the highest GPA of her graduating class. She was also selected to be the 2016 recipient of the Low Vision Rehabilitation Clinical Excellence Award. Additionally, Dr. Territo was chosen as the Class of 2016 Graduate of the Year for her clinical excellence and academic achievements.
Dr. Territo began her career in private practice in South East Ohio. She continues to emphasize the importance of annual comprehensive eye examinations as they are highly sensitive to discovering and diagnosing leading causes of blindness in the US.
She welcomes spectacle, contact lenses and pediatric eye examinations, as well as ocular disease management and treatment of red eyes, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma and dry eye syndrome. She is also very interested in low vision rehabilitation and will continue to advocate for patients who have sustained irreversible vision loss.
Dr. Territo is an active member in the American and Ohio Optometric Associations. She is the past 2017 Zone 6 Governor for the Ohio Optometric Association and currently serves as a Trustee on the Central Ohio Optometric Association Zone 12 Board. She is married Dr. John Manard and they live in Lancaster. Together, they enjoy cooking, travelling, and bird watching.
